Why stay at Hôtel Le Méridien Beach Plaza?
This accommodation is located in the Larvotto district, which includes the Principality’s largest public beach. In addition to this relaxing location, we think the hotel has other major assets:
- Private beach: relax and soak up the sun on our exclusive beach. You can even go scuba diving!
- Pools: we were won over by the hotel’s pools. Outside, the saltwater pool seems to extend out to sea, while the indoor pool, surrounded by glass roofs, is located in a space that can be opened onto the garden!
- Modern, striking decor: we were charmed by the hotel’s modern, assertive decor. Right from the reception hall, you’ll see a host of contemporary artworks for sale!

Is the hotel worth it? Our review
Yes, that’s right! Its modern decor, impressive infrastructure with top-quality pools and restaurants, and private beach make it one of Monaco’s finest hotels. Don’t hesitate if you’re looking for a luxurious and relaxing setting for your vacation!
Decoration and atmosphere
The hotel’s decor is chic and contemporary. The atmosphere is nevertheless warm, thanks to the very friendly staff. In the reception hall, we admired a number of works of art for sale, including paintings by Basquiat-style artist Zoulliart.
The restaurant and bar featured designer chairs with a splash of color. The common area floors were more sober, in black and white, although we did see an imitation cowhide fabric in the elevator!
The room
The room was elegant, spacious and comfortable. We particularly liked the large decorative paper with its grey foliage motif, which added a touch of originality while harmonizing with the carpet on the floor. The bright colors of the armchairs in the office and by the bay window were a welcome change from the sober decor.
Among the amenities in the room, we found a complimentary bottle of reusable water, a coffeemaker with coffee and tea, a notepad with pencil, and a safe to store our valuables. These little touches made our stay even more pleasant and practical.
What we liked best was the balcony, equipped with a table and two chairs, ideal for enjoying the view of the sea and the private beach! Access was via a bay window, making the room very bright.

The bathroom
In our bedroom, the bathroom had a bathtub. It was clean, simple and functional. Note that some rooms also have a sauna and/or bidet!
Hygiene products from the Malin+Goetz cosmetics brand and slippers were also available.
The breakfast
Breakfast at Le Méridien Beach Plaza is a buffet. We appreciated the wide choice of products on offer, both sweet and savoury. Breakfast is served in the Intempo restaurant, which specializes in Mediterranean cuisine.
Swimming pools and beach
This establishment boasts a superb outdoor heated saltwater pool. Surrounded by sun loungers, the pools overlook the sea! Opening times vary according to the month of the year, but they are generally open from 8am to 6pm and may be closed in winter.
The hotel also boasts a heated indoor pool, which we really enjoyed. Spacious and surrounded by armchairs, we found it interesting that it was in a space that could be opened to the outside. The glass roofs bathe the room in light, giving customers the impression of swimming outside, even in bad weather!
Last but not least, the hotel’s main attraction is its private beach, with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Very pleasant, it is supervised from 9:30 am to 6 pm. Diving activities are also available!
Equipment and common areas
Guests can take advantage of the gym, which is equipped with cardio and weight training equipment and a range of gym accessories (mats, etc.).
The hotel also boasts a hairdressing salon, business center and massage room.
The restoration
The hotel has a bar near the outdoor pools, called the Alang Bar, as well as a very cozy indoor bar, the Longitude 726.
There are 2 restaurants in the hotel: the aforementioned Intempo, and the Muse. Both specialize in Mediterranean cuisine. Le Muse is located outdoors, and we particularly appreciated its warm, colorful decor. DJ sets and live performances are sometimes held here for dinner!

The hotel is located in Monaco’s Larvotto district, 5 minutes from France. The Principality is easily accessible by train from Cannes (1h15), Nice (35min) or Menton (25min). From Paris, take the TGV to Nice.
