1. Hotel Sezz (Saint-Tropez)

Hotel Sezz swimming pool

Why stay there

We fell in love with Hotel Sezz. It’s a 5-minute drive from the center of Saint-Tropez, near the Canoubiers beach and a 15-minute drive from the magnificent Pampelonne beach.
We were enchanted by its modern, minimalist design, its vast swimming pool and the impression of an unspoilt oasis far from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The Colette restaurant, located in the hotel, turned out to be our favorite in Saint-Tropez. The menu, which focused on fruit and vegetables, proved inventive, extremely well presented and rich in flavor. However, the real highlight of our stay was the exceptional team. The welcome was impeccable and warm, helping to make our experience a memorable one.

Luxury touches we love

  • The intimacy of the hotel
  • The gourmet restaurant
  • Shuttle bus to downtown
  • Mini-bungalow-style rooms with a small garden

2. Hotel La Réserve de Beaulieu (Beaulieu-sur-Mer)

PIscine at the Reserve de Beaulieu hotel

Why stay there

Situated on a small cliff overlooking the Mediterranean, this hotel offers an idyllic setting with a breathtaking view of the sea and cliffs. We were seduced by the refined elegance of the hotel, its inner courtyard perfect for a drink, and its swimming pool overlooking the coastline.
The dinner we enjoyed at the restaurant was just as enchanting, and we’d like to offer our special congratulations to the pastry chef.
It’s worth noting that this hotel embodies a more traditional luxury style than the aforementioned Hotel Sezz.

Luxury touches we love

  • A gastronomic restaurant and a bistronomic restaurant
  • Spa with a luminous setting

We were particularly enchanted by the infinity pools with their breathtaking sea views.
The hotel becomes even more magical as the sun sets, tinting the surrounding cliffs in a magnificent glow. From our spacious room, with its refined art deco-inspired decor, and from the restaurant, we were able to take full advantage of this exceptional view.

5. Hôtel Le Negresco (Nice)

Facade Hotel Negresco

Why stay there

A veritable institution in Nice, the Hotel Le Negresco is a mythical place where art is particularly honored, and we were delighted. Nearly 6,000 works of art are displayed throughout this sumptuous palace, dating from Louis XIII to the present day, to the delight of our eyes. This collection is a wonderful tribute to our cultural and artistic heritage!

But Le Negresco is also the legend of the French Riviera, French-style refinement, with 2 gourmet restaurants, one of which is Michelin-starred, La Rotonde and Le Chantecler, located within the hotel itself. One evening we enjoyed a very pleasant 3-course meal under the starry ceiling of the Rotonde restaurant. In short, it was an enchanted and highly poetic interlude that transported us out of time. A must-see place!

Luxury touches we love

  • The grandeur of the building
  • The decor with chandeliers, gilding and sculptures
  • View of the Promenade des Anglais and the sea

Nestled between Saint-Raphaël and the red rocks of the Esterel, the hotel is like a small oasis of tranquility by the sea.
We appreciated its relaxed atmosphere and the abundance of greenery that creates a sense of being hidden from the rest of the world.

Why stay there

The Hôtel Hermitage is Monaco’s second best-known 5-star luxury hotel. It’s housed in a beautiful historic Belle Époque building, which can even be seen below from the Port-Hercule. Inside, you’ll need a map to find your way around, as the hotel is huge. The decor, whether in the common areas or the bedrooms, is chic and rococo. In addition to a swimming pool and gym, you’ll find several bars, as well as chef Yannick Alléno’s succulent 1-star restaurant, Pavyllon. We really appreciated its contemporary furnishings, which contrasted with the atmosphere of the rest of the establishment. Bar Restaurant Anantara hotel

Why stay there

Inaugurated in 1848, the Anantara Plaza hotel is housed in a magnificent Belle Époque building facing the Promenade du Paillon, Jardin Albert 1er and close to Place Masséna. This exceptional establishment in the city of Nice won us over with the quality of its welcome, its attention to detail and its little touches for us, the customers. We were conquered by its restaurant and its terrace with an exceptional view on the sea.
