When to book your hotel
Nice is a very popular tourist destination in the world, but not only! The city also hosts events, festivals and conferences throughout the year. We advise you to book your hotel as early as possible before your departure to benefit from the best price and above all to have a choice! Do not hesitate to check the available hotels for your dates.
Some additional tips
- Parking: we advise you to keep in mind that free parking in the city center will not be easy. Most of the parking spaces and parking lots are not free.
- Public transportation in the city: the urban area of Nice is served by 5 tramway lines and several bus lines. All information on the official website of the city.
- Nice by bike: really pleasant to ride on two wheels, the city has built several bike paths, including one along the Promenade des Anglais. Consider renting a bike if you are visiting the city! Information is available on the official website of the Tourist Office.
- Weather: In spring and autumn, the climate is Mediterranean and therefore quite mild in Nice, in general on the French Riviera! Always bring a jacket or vest to walk around the city as it can be a bit windy at times and wet. Summer is of course the hottest season so it’s best to think about sunglasses, sunscreen and swimsuit! Finally, winter can be a little rainy but some days are sunny.
