Getting to Saint-Tropez from Nice or Cannes: boat, bus or car
If you want to visit Saint-Tropez for just one day from Nice or Cannes, we recommend a car or shuttle service.
A train + bus journey is possible but very restrictive.
We highly recommend the boat shuttles, which allow you to enjoy the magnificent scenery during the crossing, including the magnificent red Esterel massif.
Be sure to book in advance, especially in summer, as these shuttles are very popular.
In summer they turn every day, in spring and autumn only on certain days. And there are no shuttles in winter.
From Cannes: book your tickets
From Nice: book your tickets by boat
There are also guided bus tours that combine with a visit to Port Grimaud – see program and availability.
From Saint-Raphaël, Bateaux-Saint-Raphael also operates shuttles between April and October. Book now.
Otherwise, once again, the car is the most practical option. We recommend the DiscoverCars platform and you can read all our tips in this article.
