This establishment is a 3-star boutique hotel. Recently renovated, it stands out from the rest of Monaco’s offerings thanks to its assertive identity. Here are the 3 main advantages:

Is the Miramar Hotel worth it? Our review
We think the Hotel Miramar is an excellent choice for those looking for modern, comfortable and friendly accommodation in Monaco. The staff were particularly welcoming and the atmosphere was very cozy. Its ideal location near the port allowed us to enjoy the sea view and the view of the Rock, whether from the balcony of our room, or from the rooftop where we had breakfast. This is one of our favorite hotels in Monaco!
Decoration and atmosphere
The ambience of Monaco’s Hôtel Miramar is simply stunning, immersing guests in the atmosphere of a luxurious boat. The meticulous decoration and marine details help to create a real seaside getaway for visitors. For example, the flooring in the common areas, with its patterns and colors, is reminiscent of sand. The golden rods indicating the room numbers reminded us of the old cruise ships! A net in the staircase leading upstairs immersed us in a racing boat.
We also appreciated the various contemporary art paintings that adorned the reception area. They are changed regularly and are available for sale!
The room
The room was modern, comfortable and original. We found the marine theme in the common areas. For example, we particularly liked the silver wallpaper featuring whales, which matched the decorative cushions. Slight touches of blue added warmth. The toilets were located behind a rounded door with a porthole, to give us even more of a ship’s cabin feel!
A bottle of mineral water and a safe for our valuables were at our disposal. We had the option of asking for a coffee machine at reception. Finally, the room’s trump card was its balcony, overlooking Port-Hercule and the Rocher.

The bathroom
The bathroom was small but functional. Its special feature was that it was completely open to the rest of the room. This aspect varies according to the hotel’s rooms, which are all uniquely decorated and designed to be “modular”. The dark tiles and furniture were in harmony with the silver wallpaper. We were provided with a toiletry kit, hairdryer and hygiene products.
The breakfast
Breakfast at the Hotel Miramar in Monaco is a rich and varied buffet. We appreciated the wide choice of sweet and savoury products on offer.
We were particularly enchanted by the setting: breakfast is served on the rooftop bar above the hotel. Unfortunately, the weather was not very nice, but we were able to enjoy the exceptional view of the Rocher.
Equipment and common areas
Hôtel Miramar has a meeting room that can accommodate both professional and private events. In case of bad weather, breakfast is also served in this room for the comfort of our guests.
The restoration
The “Equivoque” rooftop bar specializes in cocktails. It is easily accessible from the hotel, but can be booked for private events. For your meals, we recommend you try one of the local restaurants. We particularly appreciated the Supernature natural wine cellar, less than 10 minutes’ walk from the hotel. You can find it in our selection of Monaco’s best restaurants.

The hotel is located in the heart of Monaco, in Port-Hercule. It’s just 10 minutes from the station. Monaco is easily accessible by train from Cannes (1h15), Nice (35min), or Menton (25min). From Paris, take the TGV to Nice.
