Why stay at Hotel Les Lauriers?
In our opinion, this establishment is a very good option if you have a more limited budget. It is featured in our article on the best hotels in Saint-Tropez. Here are its 3 main assets:
- Central location: right in the heart of the city, you’ll be close to all the sights and amenities you need to make the most of your stay. We were able to explore the resort on foot.

Is Hôtel Les Lauriers worth it? Our review
Absolutely! This is an excellent 3-star hotel option if you’re on a tighter budget. Indeed, Saint-Tropez’s hotel offer is notoriously expensive.
We recommend this good address, which offers excellent value for money, impeccable service and a strategic location. You’ll have easy access to the resort ‘s must-do activities, including the Provencal market held on Place des Lices just a few meters away.
Decoration and atmosphere
Hotel Les Lauriers offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Its tree-lined outdoor terrace is a haven of peace in the heart of the city. This very pleasant, cosy space invites you to relax. Colorful chairs and tables add a cheerful touch. How about a reading break in this charming green garden?
We particularly liked the decor, with its many natural elements and soft colors. Materials such as wood, wicker and straw are showcased throughout the hotel. The atmosphere is very cocooning and soothing.

- Great kayak trips in:
Saint-Tropez to the Ramatuelle reserve
Cassis to the calanques - Helicopter flight from Cannes
- Shuttle service along the coast between Nice and Saint-Tropez
- Bike tours: eBike in Nice – Mountain biking in the Esterel massif
The room
Our room was decorated in neutral, natural tones. We were seduced by the room’s comforting ambience and bohemian chic decor.
Although small, it was very well laid out. We particularly liked the pretty palm-tree wallpaper (instead of laurel).
The black-and-white photos of Brigitte Bardot hanging on the walls added a retro touch. Positioned next to the window, the small desk area was very practical for working or writing in peace and quiet.
In the room, we found a hairdryer to facilitate our hair routine, as well as a closet to store our clothes and accessories. These facilities helped to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
From our room, we could look out onto the outdoor terrace dotted with trees and laurels. Once the window was open, the view was very soothing. Located on the first floor, it was preferable to keep it closed for privacy.

The bathroom
We really liked the bathroom with its 3-zone layout. The open shower, the colored tiles on the floor and the organically shaped mirror made the space very pleasant.
We found hygiene products from the Naturals cosmetics brand.
The breakfast
The hotel’s breakfast is served from 8am to 11am. We liked the selection of sweet products: pastries, yoghurts, jams, cereals, a range of breads, and muesli among others. However, there was no savory option.
We had breakfast on the veranda, which was beautifully decorated in neutral tones and with natural elements. In fine weather, you can also dine directly in the establishment’s outdoor courtyard among the trees.
Equipment and common areas
The hotel has a small garden with tables where you can relax in the open air. What’s more, you can borrow a pétanque set for games with friends on the Place des Lices.
However, please note that the wifi connection is not very good. We therefore recommend that you make your own arrangements if you need reliable Internet access during your stay.
The restoration
It is not possible to eat on site. Nevertheless, the hotel staff can recommend some of the best places to eat in the city.
