Following our stay, we can confirm that Hotel Riva Art & Spa is well worth the detour. Its unique character and contemporary atmosphere make it a delightful address on the Côte d’Azur. We were impressed by the attention to detail and the overall quality of the services. The establishment successfully combines modern comfort with unobstructed views, creating a memorable experience for travelers in search of serenity.
Decoration and atmosphere
The hotel’s atmosphere surprised us with its resolutely modern character. The common areas feature a palette dominated by white, enhanced by touches of color that bring vibrancy to the spaces. We noticed the striking contrast of the corridors, decorated in a modern seaside style with darker tones.
Despite its name, which suggests an artistic dimension, the establishment actually adopts a contemporary, uncluttered decorative approach, with no real “arty” orientation. This modern aesthetic nevertheless creates a soothing, luminous environment that’s particularly appreciated.

The room
The rooms offer a pleasantly bright ambience, decorated in a modern seaside style. We liked the pops of color that enlivened the space, creating a lively, welcoming atmosphere. The layout includes everything you need for a comfortable stay: a chair for relaxing, a kettle for hot drinks and a safe to secure your personal belongings.
We opted for a room with a sea view, a choice we don’t regret. Our large terrace, equipped with chairs and a table, allowed us to take full advantage of a frontal view of the Mediterranean. The lapping of the water created a soothing ambience, even if the seafront avenue that runs past the foot of the hotel is a reminder of the proximity of urban bustle.

The bathroom
The design of our bathroom focused on functionality, with simple, uncluttered decoration and no particular frills. We particularly appreciated the spacious shower with its excellent pressure, a real bonus after a day of sightseeing.
Thick towels add an extra touch of comfort. The establishment has chosen VRAI brand hygiene products, guaranteeing quality and respect for the environment. The modern, well-maintained facilities contributed to our overall well-being during our stay.
The breakfast
Our breakfast was a great start to exploring Menton. We took our seats in the pleasantly decorated room overlooking the avenue at the rear of the establishment, creating a bright, peaceful atmosphere. The buffet won us over with its variety.
We enjoyed fresh pastries, fluffy pancakes and a particularly appetizing fresh fruit salad. Gourmets will appreciate the choice of cakes and homemade flan, while savoury connoisseurs will delight in the selection of charcuterie and cheeses.

Equipment and common areas
The Hotel Riva Art & Spa impressed us with its exceptional wellness facilities. The highlight is undoubtedly the Prãna Spa, located on the roof of the establishment with a spectacular view of the Mediterranean. We particularly appreciated the Jacuzzi on the panoramic terrace, offering a unique moment of relaxation overlooking the horizon.
The spa, open Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm, offers a full range of made-to-measure treatments: massages, chromotherapy, aromatherapy, as well as balneotherapy rituals and scrubs. Massages can also be performed directly on the panoramic terrace, an experience we highly recommend.
The wellness area also includes a solarium, hammam and dedicated treatment rooms. This exceptional terrace transforms every treatment into a memorable moment, combining relaxation with a breathtaking view of the Grande Bleue.
The restoration
Hotel Riva Art & Spa doesn’t have a restaurant, but it does offer a bar service that completes the experience. We enjoyed a drink at the end of the day, after exploring Menton. The bar offers a selection of beverages to suit different times of the day, for refreshments and socializing. For meals, our proximity to the city center made it easy for us to discover Menton’s many restaurants and their Mediterranean flavors.
