The Mediterranean menu is dominated by fish, but also features local meats and vegetables. Our dinner for two overlooking Cap Canaille was a symphony of flavors. The restaurant offers a fine selection of local wines. We recommend this address for a remarkable culinary experience!
- Restaurant La Brasserie du Corton
The Brasserie du Corton, located above the Michelin-starred restaurant La Villa Madie, offers modern, refined cuisine based on local, seasonal produce. We particularly enjoyed the soft-boiled egg and the octopus dish with seasonal vegetables, as well as the lemon tart for dessert. The seafront setting is idyllic, adding an exceptional touch to this remarkable culinary experience. We highly recommend this restaurant.
- Restaurant Chez Alfred
Chez Alfred, in the narrow streets of Cassis, offers a simple menu of fresh dishes made with local produce. We really enjoyed the gourmet time we spent there. Nestled in the Corton cove, facing Cap Canaille, Villa Madie is a 3-star restaurant offering subtle yet flavorful, fresh yet aromatic, light yet punchy cuisine. The menu changes with the movement of the 4 seasons. We believe this is a guarantee of quality.
In addition to its outstanding cuisine, La Villa Madie offers a breathtaking view of the red cliffs of the Massif de l’Estérel and Cap Canaille in particular. We recommend a visit just for that!

2. Restaurant La Brasserie du Corton
Don’t be fooled by the name “Brasserie”, because this restaurant is much more than just a brasserie! Situated above the Michelin-starred restaurant La Villa Madie, we loved tasting the sumptuous dishes prepared by the chef, while admiring the sea.
This restaurant offers refined, modern French cuisine, using local seasonal produce. The emphasis is on the freshness and quality of ingredients, enhanced by original and tasty combinations of land and sea.
During our visit, we were treated to a delicious soft-boiled egg. We continued with a delicious dish of octopus and local seasonal vegetables, perfectly cooked.
Finally, we couldn’t resist the call of the lemon tart, which rounded off this fabulous meal perfectly! We highly recommend this restaurant, whose dishes are delicious, whose wines are meticulously selected, and whose seafront setting is idyllic!

3. Restaurant Les Belles Canailles
We warmly recommend Restaurant les Belles Canailles. This is one of the restaurants of the Hôtel Les Roches Blanches (one of our recommendations for staying in Cassis). Chef Nicolas Sintes sublimates local produce to perfection, sourced through short distribution channels. Indeed, we appreciated the fact that the restaurant was committed to an eco-responsible approach. The Mediterranean-inspired menu is dominated by fish. However, you’ll also find meats such as lamb and many seasonal vegetables grown in the surrounding area.
Our tête-à-tête dinner with Cap Canaille was a symphony of flavors from appetizer to dessert. We enjoyed a non-alcoholic cocktail, but the restaurant also boasts a fine wine list. Indulge in a glass of Cassis or Bandol wine.

This table, nestled in the heart of Cassis, will take you on a journey through Provence, with its dishes featuring the very best local flavors, prepared with the finest local produce. At Chez Alfred, it’s the combination of a refined menu and fresh dishes based on local produce that won us over. Tucked away in the narrow streets of Cassis, this fine restaurant delighted us with its carefully prepared dishes. Perfectly cooked vegetables bursting with sunshine, a creamy risotto, a pavlova with fresh fruit and you’ve got it!
We think this restaurant is well worth a visit if you’re passing through Cassis. Prices are reasonable for the quality of products and dishes. What’s more, the quiet lane, far from the crowded beaches, offers a welcome break from the hustle and bustle.

10. Restaurant L’Atelier Gastronomique
We really enjoyed our gourmet break at L’Atelier Gastronomique. Our home-cooked cuisine is based on fresh produce carefully selected by our chef. Here, the idea is to sublimate regional products through Provencal dishes. Salads, pastas, hamburgers – there’s something for everyone, but always with a Provencal twist! The atmosphere is friendly, and you can even choose to take your meal away to enjoy on one of the magnificent Cassis beaches.
For a quick lunch, we opted for a croque-monsieur with truffle, ham and runny egg. We found it delicious: melt-in-the-mouth, tasty and gourmet, perfect before a hike in the Masif de l’Esterel!
We also tried the vegetable tempura dipped in a fresh herb sauce – delicious! It’s a fun and practical way to get children to eat vegetables. Refresh yourself with a fine selection of regional wines, craft beers and artisanal juices.

Set in an old Provencal home, Le Clos des Arômes is a hotel-restaurant with the feel of a family home. Treat yourself to a gourmet break on this establishment’s lovely, shady, quiet, leafy terrace. Mussels au gratin, linguine with clams, calamari Provençale, sunny vegetables… Here, the south is in the plate! We think families will have a great time. Children will be delighted to be able to enjoy a good pizza, and parents will have the peace of mind to let them run around safely in the enclosed area of the terrace.
