Best starred and gourmet restaurants
1. Restaurant des Rois (1 star, Hôtel La Réserve de Beaulieu)
This Michelin-starred restaurant is truly our favorite. It is set in the exceptional surroundings of the 5-star La Réserve hotel. In fact, we’ve listed it among the best places to stay in Beaulieu-sur-Mer. Restaurant des Rois was founded in 1880 by restaurateur Pierre Lottier, originally from Nice. With its exceptional sea views and daring cuisine, the restaurant quickly became a Côte d’Azur staple, welcoming Hollywood stars such as Frank Sinatra! The main room is very chic and luxurious, in the Belle Époque style. We preferred to dine on the terrace, to make the most of the view!

The graphic, precise cuisine of chef Julien Roucheteau, Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2019, trained in Paris (restaurant at the Hôtel Lancaster…), won us over! We really enjoyed the floral, invigorating aspect of our dishes. We also found the desserts succulent. To extend the experience, why not stay at this superb establishment and its impressive wellness center? – see prices, availability, and book!

- Neighborhood: port.
- Type: gastronomic starred.
- Capacity: more than 25 place settings.
- Terrace: yes.
- Price range: dishes from €85, menu from €215 per person (drinks not included).

2. So Met’s Restaurant
We were attracted by the atmosphere of this modern bistronomic restaurant. On the menu: tasty cuisine featuring local, seasonal produce! The menu changes every month, but always features daring creations (lentil emulsions, citrus reduction and saffron bergamot sorbets). That’s why the restaurant has earned a mention in the Michelin guide.

We found the slightly sunny terrace really pleasant. Inside, we appreciated the elegant, contemporary decor. In our opinion, chef Anne-Sophie Sabini has just as much taste for tantalizing our taste buds as she does for creating a warm, refined atmosphere! As you can see, we recommend you try this restaurant, ideally located in the city center, without further ado.

Practical information:
- Neighborhood: downtown.
- Type: gastronomic (Michelin rating).
- Capacity: more than 25 place settings.

3. Restaurant La Table de la Réserve
Along with the aforementioned Restaurant des Rois, La Table de la Réserve is the second restaurant at Hôtel La Réserve de Beaulieu. However, this one is more “bistronomic” than “gastronomic”. The atmosphere is that of a chic bistro, as evidenced by the bistro chairs and elegant banquettes. Contemporary Mediterranean cuisine in a friendly atmosphere. Chef Julien Roucheteau, also head of Restaurant des Rois, oversees this charming second establishment.

If you’re not a fan of revisited dishes, we recommend you visit on Fridays and Saturdays. You can then enjoy a typical bouillabaisse in honor of Provence! To extend the experience, why not stay at the hotel, which offers an exceptional vacation setting – see prices, availability and book now!

4. Restaurant Le Circé
Le Circé is a Beaulieu-sur-Mer institution. We couldn’t miss it: its chic façade gives this restaurant a palatial feel, and with good reason! Le Circé is not just a restaurant, it’s also a lounge bar and reception venue. It offers a wide choice of signature cocktails. Its DJ, located in the center of the main room, may well inspire you to venture out onto the dance floor, after enjoying a refined meal.

If you’re not a night owl, you’ll love the Circé! In fact, it offers a Sunday brunch on its large terrace. We recommend it, as few of the best addresses are open on this day.

We were pleasantly surprised by the Panao restaurant! We had a great time on the terrace of this harbor-side establishment. Comfortably seated, we enjoyed a delicious cocktail. We were more indecisive about our meal: we wanted to taste everything!

The Panao menu is well-stocked, offering well-balanced, refined and beautifully prepared dishes. Our exotic dessert, in the form of a trompe-l’oeil containing a mango/passion coulis, shows just that! We also enjoyed our main course, a spice-stuffed lamb fillet with artichoke cream and roasted vegetables. So we highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for an affordable, high-quality dining experience.

6. Restaurant Aristrée
Would you like to enjoy elaborate cuisine combining Mediterranean style and world cuisine? L’Aristrée is for you! Chef Pascal Brizzi and his brigade prepare well-presented dishes that bring refinement to street food specialties. Examples include lamb tacos, burgers and fish and chips with mint pea puree and red wine vinegar. They sit alongside more classic dishes such as roast scallops, fillet of bass or an egg casserole.

And don’t forget to try the “planche à délices” for dessert. A selection of homemade desserts created by pastry chef Nicolas Gouillier. 8. Restaurant Very Valentina
Neighboring the Salina restaurant, the Very Valentina also offers a pleasant terrace facing the harbor. And the similarities don’t stop there: this establishment also serves Italian cuisine! The atmosphere is more convivial, however, with its many plants and wooden chairs. We appreciated the large bay window, giving the impression of being on a terrace even indoors!

The menu features pasta and fresh fish (salmon, sea bream, octopus, etc.). After that, if you’re not satisfied, we suggest you try our favorite Italian dessert, tiramisu! As you can see, Beaulieu-sur-Mer’s marina offers a wealth of good places to visit.

The menu features a wide range of starters to share (salads, poke bowls, tataki, calamari…). We found the dishes classic but refined. In our opinion, the best part of the menu is the fish and shellfish!

In our opinion, this bistro has the most beautiful decor of all the establishments we have listed. We particularly liked the rattan furniture, which went particularly well with the very dark blue color that dominated the interior.

The cuisine is also very tasty, served with fresh, homemade products. That’s why the map is so short. However, you’ll find plates to share (roast camembert, crispy goat’s cheese, roast beef…), as well as generous dishes that will delight meat lovers. One example is the beef burger with truffled brie!
