Why stay at Hôtel Villa Port d’Antibes?

Here are the 3 main assets of the Villa Port d’Antibes hotel:

  • Its spa: we were delighted by the hotel’s wellness center. It features a hammam, massage tables and a heated outdoor pool to relax and recharge during your stay.

  • Its location: in the heart of Antibes harbor, with easy access to the old town on foot. Thanks to this ideal location, we were able to enjoy a superb sunset from the balcony of our room!

Is the Hotel Villa Port d’Antibes worth it? Our review

We think the Hotel Villa Port d’Antibes is really worth it! Indeed, this is a quality hotel with a very pleasant wellness center. What’s more, its location near the port and the old town of Antibes makes it an ideal choice for enjoying the city. For us, this is one of the best hotels in Antibes and we highly recommend it to those looking for a quality stay in the area.

Decoration and atmosphere

We were totally charmed by the decor of the establishment. In the reception area, the atmosphere is chic thanks to sober, contemporary furniture, enhanced by touches of bright color (fabrics, decorative objects…). The pool and wellness center have a cosier, more holiday-like feel, with natural materials such as raffia and rattan.

The decoration of all the common areas remains coherent thanks to objects that evoke a certain exoticism, like these golden turtle sculptures! These travel inspirations were also reflected in the room floor names. We stayed on the 5th floor, called “Treasure Island”!

The room

Our room was in harmony with the decoration of the common areas. The result was an elegant atmosphere, with sleek black designer furniture enhanced by stunning floral wallpaper above our bed. We also noticed some gold decorations that reminded us of the ones in the reception area!

View of the room.

In our room we found two cups, two glasses of water, a safe, a minibar, an umbrella and a kettle. This made for a very pleasant stay. Finally, the room was bright thanks to a bay window opening onto the balcony. It was equipped with a table and two chairs, with a view of the town, the wheel and the port in the distance.

The bathroom

Our bathroom had a shower, bathrobe and slippers. Almost entirely in white marble, it was sober yet elegant, clean and functional.

We were provided with tissues, a hairdryer and Sothys brand products, also used at the spa.

The breakfast

Breakfast was served on the first floor, in a bright room next to the pool terrace. Here again, the decor was neat and cosy, with sober rattan furniture and green wallpaper with plant motifs.

We particularly appreciated the wide choice of products offered in buffet form, whether sweet (fruit, pressed fruit juices, fruit salad, jams, pancakes, pastries, breads, cereals, spreads, etc.) or savoury (fromage blanc, cold meats, eggs, etc.). We had a wonderful time!

Spa, pool and beach

The hotel features a wellness center with hammam, sensory shower and 3 treatment cabins, including a duo cabin. You can enjoy diagnostics and massages in elegant surroundings, using Sothys products.

To complete the offer, the establishment also includes a heated outdoor swimming pool, surrounded by a terrace. And if you prefer to swim directly on the beach, the nearest is La Gravette, less than 10 minutes’ walk away. We’ve ranked it among the most beautiful beaches in Antibes.

Equipment and common areas

The hotel features a winter garden with herbal tea room, part of the wellness center. Enjoy the relaxing atmosphere! Last but not least, a small, well-decorated and pleasant lounge is located on the first floor of the establishment.

The restoration

The establishment features a lounge bar on the reception level. Snacks are available. We do, however, recommend a visit to one of the many fine restaurants nearby. Find them in our article on the best restaurants to eat in Antibes.
