Ideally located in the heart of Nice and 900m from the beach, the Hotel Apollinaire – WH Distinctive is a recently renovated 4-star establishment. 95 rooms and suites as well as several pleasant facilities (patio, wellness area, gym…), are decorated in a contemporary and elegant style.
We were attracted by its facade with its typical Nice charm. The Hotel Apollinaire is ideal for visiting Nice and its nearby places of interest, but also for a professional stay. Meeting space and quality wifi are indeed offered.

Decoration and atmosphere
The decoration of the hotel is particularly elegant and contemporary. If the walls and furniture are mostly sober, quality materials and strong pieces bring cachet and warmth to the whole. For example, we liked the marble and wood furniture in our room, as well as the relaxing atmosphere created by the light fixtures and the headboard with its plant decoration.
We liked the mix of styles in the decoration. Geometric patterns reminiscent of the 1970s are found alongside floors covered with tropical-print carpeting, or more Mediterranean tiles, as in the living room.

The room
Our room was bright, contemporary and striking with its black and white wave-shaped floor and the landscape decorating the headboard. The bedding was comfortable and the closet to store our things was large enough.
On a small cupboard, we found a kettle and tea, as well as a coffee machine and its cups. Inside, we had at our disposal a safe and a minibar.
A bottle of microfiltered water with two glasses was set up next to our bed. We could refill it at any time during our stay thanks to a drinking water fountain located near the wellness area: a good alternative to plastic bottles! There was also a pen and paper conveniently located near the phone to the left of the bed.

The bathroom
We were delighted with the bathroom, which was really beautiful and very comfortable. It was equipped with a bathtub and a spacious shower as well as a deep basin. The toilets were integrated, so as not to lose space.
In addition to the bath products offered by Fragonard (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and vegetable soap), we had towels, a hairdryer and a glass, convenient to put our toothbrush.

The breakfast
The hotel offers a rich and diversified breakfast, which we particularly appreciated. First of all, the room was large and bright, with many openings to the outside.
It was also easy to find your way around the extensive buffet. Organized in two parts, it offered on a central island, a wide variety of breads and quality teas, as well as pastries and several coffee machines.
In the other part of the buffet, you could find salty food, such as cold cuts, cheese, or smoked sausages. We also had a large selection of yoghurt, fruit and old fashioned quality jams.

Equipment and common areas
The strength of this establishment is above all its facilities. We were won over by the patio, which offered a pleasant, bucolic setting on the first floor, perfect for relaxation.
Overlooking the patio, we were able to take a tour of the gym, which has several types of weight training equipment.
To relax after your sports session, what could be better than a visit to the wellness area, with a small spa and hammam? We were also able to relax at the bar with its chic atmosphere and particularly comfortable seating.
The hotel is also suitable for business trips. You will find meeting rooms and benefit from a free and efficient wifi connection. The reception is open 24 hours a day and you can take advantage of a luggage storage service to make the most of your escapades in the city.
Finally, you should know that the rooms are soundproofed, air-conditioned, and heated, and that your pets are welcome. You can ask for bowls for your 4-legged friends.
