A veritable institution in Nice, Hôtel Le Negresco is a legendary place where art is particularly honored. Nearly 6,000 works of art, dating from Louis XIII to the present day, are on display on both sides of this sumptuous palace!

This establishment is also the epitome of the French Riviera and French refinement. It boasts 2 exceptional gourmet restaurants (one of which is Michelin-starred) located within the hotel itself. In fact, our experience at Restaurant La Rotonde will remain etched in our memories. We dined under a starry, fairytale ceiling! It was an enchanted interlude that transported us out of time. We think it’s a must-see in Nice!

3. Hotel La Villa Nice Promenade (4 stars)

Our room at the hotel La Villa Nice Promenade

Why stay there?

Formerly owned by the Jacques Médecin family, French politicians and mayor of Nice in the 20th century, the hotel La Villa Nice Promenade is housed in a traditional 19th-century Nice building. Literally 2 steps from the Promenade des Anglais, we discovered this cocoon that tastefully blends the old and the contemporary, creating a cosy and distinguished atmosphere. We particularly appreciated the noble materials, the play of lights, the textures. Everything is carefully worked out to offer us a warm and welcoming atmosphere, whether in the common areas or in the rooms. As a bonus, we had a nice view of the beach from our balcony!

Combining art deco charm with modern comforts, you’re sure to fall in love with this luxurious setting with its spacious rooms. Casino, restaurants and swimming pools – what more could you ask for in a resort of this quality? The location is ideal for organizing your visits, from the old town to the Cour Saleya market. 5. Hotel Suisse (4 stars)

Hotel Suisse in Nice under the Parc du Mont-Boron

Why stay there?

Behind its Belle Époque walls, the Hôtel Suisse invites you to discover its warm and distinguished world. The tastefully decorated rooms and attentive service are, in our view, the hotel’s greatest assets, in addition to its seafront location. You’ll be staying opposite Castel Plage, Nice’s popular private beach club. Don’t forget to visit the sundial on Rauba Capeu Point, just 2 steps from the hotel. Finally, we also loved the hotel’s location at the foot of the Parc de la Colline du Château, where you can take a stroll to fill your lungs with fresh air.
