Hotel BW Premier Collection Mondial (Cannes): review

Staying at the BW Premier Collection Mondial Hotel was a very pleasant experience for us.

Ideally located in the heart of downtown Cannes, just a 3-minute walk takes you to the Promenade de la Croisette. From the balcony of our room, we could even make out the waterfront at the end of the pedestrian street.

Why stay at the BW Premier Collection Mondial Hotel in Cannes?

We had an exceptional stay at this 4-star hotel. Here are its 3 main assets, in our opinion:

Ideal location: right in the center of town, close to the Croisette, shops and restaurants. All we had to do was walk a few metres to enjoy the waterfront beaches!

its unique architecture: the establishment is housed in an Art Deco building, giving it great charm and cachet.

chic and different decor: we found our room particularly well-decorated and elegant, with a few original touches. The interior of the hotel is very warm and welcoming, and we felt right at home.

Is the BW Premier Collection Mondial Hotel worth it? Our review

Absolutely! If you’re looking for an experience that combines glamour, luxury and originality, we highly recommend this 4-star hotel.

Located in the heart of Cannes, we found its location ideal. You can easily access the Promenade de la Croisette, and enjoy its festive atmosphere day and night! What’s more, we had a superb view of the pedestrian street from our little balcony.

Decoration and atmosphere

Beyond its Art Deco architecture, we really appreciated its colorful, patterned decor, light effects and original touches. The staff were warm and welcoming, which made for a very pleasant atmosphere.

PLAN YOUR STAY IN Cannes

The room

The decoration of our room combined elegance, originality and modernity. We particularly liked the bedspread and the patterned wall. A beautiful, cosy orange armchair completed the ensemble, along with a series of comfortable cousins in a variety of textures and colors. The wave-shaped fixtures added a touch of softness to the room.

Our room featured a large bay window adorned with curtains. It opened onto a pretty little balcony overlooking the picturesque streets of Cannes.

The bathroom

In our bathroom, we discovered a large bathtub and Clarins hygiene products. Bath salts were also provided, allowing us to spend a pleasant moment of relaxation.

The breakfast

At this hotel, you can enjoy a buffet breakfast. It can be served directly to your room. For our part, we settled into the dining room, which was elegantly decorated in shades of purple, and adorned with dried flowers.

You’ll find sweet products: pastries, cereals, a range of breads, fresh and dried fruit, a selection of Mariage Frères teas, small jars of Wilkin & Son jam, and yoghurts. For lovers of savory breakfasts, there were also eggs, charcuterie and cheese.

The restoration

The hotel has no restaurant or bar, as it is located in the heart of Cannes. You’ll find plenty of good addresses nearby, including Restaurant La Môme just 100m away. We recommend that you read our article on the city’s best restaurants for a unique experience!

How to get there?

To get to Cannes, you can opt for the train. The town is directly linked by TGV to several major French cities, including Paris (5h15), Lyon (4h) and Marseille (2h). It’s a 5-minute walk from the station to the hotel.

If you’re traveling by car from elsewhere in France, you can reach Cannes via the A8 motorway or the Autoroute du Soleil. For a more economical route, you can also take the national and departmental roads, such as the D6285.

Finally, if you’re traveling by car from other European countries, we recommend using European freeways, such as the A8 or the Italian A10 (or Autoroute des Fleurs).

Note that traffic can be heavy, especially during peak and vacation periods, and especially in the city center! We recommend that you check traffic conditions beforehand.

You can also choose to fly. The nearest airport is Nice, serving French and European cities such as Lisbon, Brussels and Dublin. Once you’ve arrived, the easiest option is to rent a car and drive 35 minutes to the hotel.

Parking

The hotel doesn’t have its own parking lot, as it’s located in the heart of the city on a pedestrian street. However, there are several pay parking lots nearby. We recommend Parking Lamy, located at 121 Rue d’Antibes, a 5-minute walk from the establishment.

For people with reduced mobility

The hotel is relatively accessible to people with reduced mobility. The upper floors are accessible by elevator. The corridors are wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs. Please do not hesitate to contact us on 04 93 68 70 00 for further information.

Is the BW Premier Collection Mondial family-friendly?

This is a family-friendly establishment. In particular, it offers multi-bedded suites for group stays. What’s more, it’s ideally located just a few meters from the Croisette and the main tourist attractions. If required, you can ask for a cot at reception, or use their baby-sitting service.
