This gilded wooden statue sits at the center of the choir. It was donated by the Abbey of L\u00e9rins and dates from the 16th century.We imagine it to be made entirely of gold, given its brilliance, but it’s actually made of wood. She holds the child Jesur and a marine anchor, ensuring protection in difficult times.<\/p>\n\n
