Yes, we think visiting Cassis<\/a> in winter is well worth it! The town, often associated with its beaches and boat trips to the calanques, reveals a more authentic face this time of year. We enjoyed strolling along the harbor without the hustle and bustle, and wandering the narrow streets without looking for a table at lunchtime. The monuments, the calanques accessible on foot and the vineyards remain open, with the not inconsiderable benefit of reduced visitor numbers. You can also take advantage of more affordable accommodation and spend more time at each location. It was a different, quieter way of discovering Cassis<\/a> that convinced us.<\/p>\n\n
