Yes, the Plages du Mourillon are well worth a visit during your stay in Toulon. Situated to the east of the town center, they form one of the region’s most pleasant seaside resorts, with several landscaped coves, safe bathing areas and a friendly atmosphere all year round. We appreciated the diversity of the spaces: family beaches, quieter areas, playgrounds, shady lawns… All well thought-out and perfectly maintained. If you’re looking for an accessible, easy-to-reach place to combine swimming, relaxation and dining, the Plages du Mourillon is one of Toulon’s best beaches and one of the port city’s must-see attractions<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

The beach floor is made of Claire-colored fine sand, ideal for comfortable seating or for children’s beach games.<\/p>\n\n

Swimming here is generally calm and safe, thanks to the protected coves. In summer, the beaches are supervised by lifeguards. The water is often clear, and we noticed that the entry slope is gradual, ideal for children and inexperienced swimmers. In easterly winds, a few waves may appear, but overall conditions remain favorable for swimming.<\/p>\n\n
