We appreciated this combination of modernity and heritage. It was meticulously furnished: natural beige and brown tones, good bedding, functional desk, minibar, small flat-screen TV. Nothing excessive, but everything was in place for a comfortable stay. We learned that the building was part of a vast religious complex that once stretched as far as the Cours Mirabeau, now one of the city&#8217;s main thoroughfares.
