In our opinion, it&#8217;s one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/provencelovers.fr\/en\/best-villages-cote-azur\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">most beautiful villages on the C\u00f4te d&#8217;<\/a>Azur. And we love wandering around in the calm of the early morning.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Start by exploring all the alleys. It&#8217;s not very big.<br\/>Perched on a steep hill some 427 metres above the Mediterranean Sea, it offers spectacular views of the coast and sea. It&#8217;s a maze of narrow lanes and cobbled streets, typical of the Mediterranean region, with tunnels and arches.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/photos.smugmug.com\/Provence-Lovers\/%C3%88ze\/n-cXSbFV\/Jardin\/i-PJxBRNR\/0\/7de76d1e\/L\/Village_eze_jardin_cactus-L.jpg\" alt=\"garden of &#xC8;ze\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">View from Jardin d&#8217;Eze<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then climb to the very top of the village and choose to visit the botanical garden with its many species of cactus on the hillside.
