Is Rondelli Beach worth it?<\/h2>\n\n

Yes, it’s a beautiful beach and well worth a visit. Located to the east of the town, just before the Port de Garavan, in the extension of the Plage des Sablettes, we enjoyed one of the best views of Menton’s old town. Unusually for Menton, the public part of the beach is made of sand, not pebbles or gravel. It is particularly popular with families.<\/p>\n\n

In our opinion, <\/em>is one of the most beautiful beaches in Menton<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

Sand or no sand?<\/h3>\n\n

The small public section of the beach is paved with sand (the rest is gravel). In fact, it’s the only beach in Menton that isn’t entirely pebble or gravel. Find out more here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

We loved being able to go for a swim without wobbling on the sometimes uncomfortable shapes of the pebbles. We were in Menton at the end of the season. The sand wasn’t as clean as in the height of summer, when it benefits from a daily wash.<\/p>\n\n

Swimming conditions and supervision<\/h3>\n\n

We found the beach very pleasant. The slope is very gentle, even for entering the water.<\/p>\n\n

It is supervised in July and August.<\/p>\n\n
