We loved discovering the 9 calanques of Cassis and Marseille during our excursion, which lasted around 2 hours 20 minutes. the C\u00f4te d&#8217;<\/a>Azur!  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Plage de la Grande Mer<\/strong> is the main beach of Cassis.\nIt&#8217;s just 2 steps from the port and the historic center with its colorful alleyways.\nWe liked the view of the pretty Colline du Ch\u00e2teau, located behind the beach.\nWe think its fine sand and the fact that it is supervised make it ideal for families.\nWhat&#8217;s more, you can easily spend the day keeping busy with the many water activities available on site: pedal boats, kayaks, paddleboats&#8230;\nLast but not least, you&#8217;ll have access to showers and historic center of Cassis comes alive twice a week on Wednesday and Friday mornings.\nWe enjoyed meeting the producers and greengrocers who sell fruit, vegetables, cheese, charcuterie, fish and seafood.\nYou&#8217;ll also find clothing and local handicrafts.  <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The fish market<\/strong>: Cassis fishermen sell their catch every morning at the fish market on the Quai des
