The Emily in Paris in Saint-Tropez episode: reality check<\/h2>\n\n

In season 2, episode 2<\/strong>, Emily heads down to the C\u00f4te d’Azur for a weekend.According to the script, she goes to Saint-Tropez.<\/p>\n\n

However, almost all the scenes you travel through in this episode were shot in the Villefranche-sur-Mer and Cap Ferrat areas. Only a few moments were filmed in the narrow streets and harbor of Saint-Tropez.Here’s a map to put things in perspective:<\/p>\n\n

In the center of the C\u00f4te d’Azur, you’ll find Saint-Tropez, and right next to Nice, you’ll find Villefranche-sur-Mer.<\/p>\n\n

Between Saint-Tropez and Villefranche-sur-Mer, it’s a 2-hour drive when there’s traffic… So it’s not really the same place. <\/p>\n\n

The train<\/h2>\n\n

The train Emily takes from Paris to Saint-Tropez is beautiful. but it has nothing to do with the train you’ll be taking.Its train and cab resemble the Orient Express.The train from Paris to the C\u00f4te d’Azur is a TGV, not a night train, and it looks like this:<\/p>\n\n

It is also possible to travel from Paris to Nice by night train. The cabins then have bunks, but they are much less attractive.<\/p>\n\n
